Anthurium dressleri 'Progeny' — Dressleri × dressleri 'Gigi' breeding focused on the qualities that make dressleri so desirable: velvet texture, depth of colour and powerful mature foliage.
Rather than diluting the parentage with a very different species, this line doubles down on dressleri character. That makes it especially interesting to collectors who value lineage, breeding potential and the chance of an exceptional individual emerging from the progeny.
Expected plant size / growth stage: Approximately 30cm; established plant. These are living plants, so individual specimens will naturally vary slightly in height, leaf number, shape and colour.

- Pre-order: This plant is from a confirmed limited allocation and is not yet onsite at Emm's Plant House.
- Typical lead time: Around 2–6 weeks. Timing can vary with specialist plant shipments and plant-health checks.
- Before dispatch: Once received, the plant will be checked and allowed to settle before we send it on to you. If the confirmed allocation changes unexpectedly, we will contact you with the choice of a suitable alternative or a full refund.
- Light: Bright indirect light; protect velvet foliage from harsh midday sun.
- Water: Keep evenly but lightly moist, allowing the upper layer of the mix to begin drying before watering again.
- Humidity: Moderate to high humidity with good airflow is ideal, particularly while the plant acclimatises.
- Temperature: Warm and stable, ideally around 18–27°C; avoid cold draughts.
- Growing mix: Use a chunky, airy aroid mix that retains some moisture without becoming waterlogged.
- Care level: Moderate to specialist depending on the cross; stable conditions matter more than constant intervention.
Collector plants are naturally variable. Seed-grown hybrids in particular may differ noticeably from one another as they mature, which is part of their collector appeal.
